About Hackathon

SmartCodeWeb 1.0 is a two-day immersive hackathon designed to ignite innovation among B.Tech and MCA students in the rapidly evolving domain of web technologies for smart environments.

As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, web platforms play a crucial role in managing, monitoring, and enhancing smart systems. This hackathon challenges students to design, develop, and deploy web-based solutions aligned with Next-Generation Web Development — focusing on performance, accessibility, scalability, and user engagement.

Objectives

3 Categories – Frontend, Backend, UI/UX Design

Eligibility

Open to B.Tech (1st, 2nd, and 3rd year of any branch) and MCA students.
Individual participation only.

Hackathon Tracks

Front-End Development

Interactive interfaces, responsive and accessible web design.


Tech Stack: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, NextJS, UI Component Libraries

Back-End Development

Server-side logic, APIs, cloud deployment, and database management.


Tech Stack: NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB, NextAuth

UI/UX Design

Content-driven web design, SEO optimization and digital engagement strategies.


Tech Stack: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Figma, Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator

Certificates

All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation recognizing their efforts.

Hackathon Workflow

Participants will receive a problem statement based on their chosen track — Frontend, Backend, or UI/UX Design. They are required to develop a solution within the given time frame using provided resources.
